La cinefilia ritrovata

Quest’anno cinefilia sarà una sezione vera e propria, con incontri e proiezioni, dedicata all’amore per il cinema come fenomeno storico e movimento spontaneo che oggi sembra rinascere in forme nuove grazie alla rete (blog, siti, riviste online). Vedremo e ascolteremo autorevoli studiosi di cinema internazionali che discutono e si confrontano sulla cinefilia di passato e presente, interrogandosi su cosa stia diventando l’amour du cinéma nell’era del digitale. Interverranno David Bordwell, Michel Ciment, Ian Christie, Jean Douchet, Thierry Fremaux, Jim Hoberman, Christoph Huber, Dave Kehr, Jean Gili, Gabe Klinger, Miguel Marias, Carlo Mazzacurati, Roy Menarini, Paolo Mereghetti, Olaf Möller, Daniela Persico, Jonathan Rosenbaum, Girish Shambu, Alex Stellino, Serge Toubiana.

Cinephilia has always been Il Cinema Ritrovato’s magic word, opening doors to rare and unseen images and pleasures. A daily section will be devoted to cinephilia with screenings and conversations focusing on the love of film as a historical phenomenon, an intellectual and sentimental frame of mind, and a spontaneous movement that today is taking on new shapes and capturing the interest of younger generations online through blogs, websites and online magazines. As is our tradition, Il Cinema Ritrovato has invited international film critics and scholars to offer their views on cinephilia in the past and present and how our long-standing amour du cinéma will change in the digital era.
