All of the library’s services are free except for photocopies and the document supply service.

Consulting periodicals

Magazines and journals must be requested directly from the library’s staff after completing the correct form.

Consulting and printing microfilm

The library has equipment for viewing microfilm and printing it on paper for free. It is located in the audiovisual section and can be used by appointment by calling the following number:

Consulting the archival collections

To access the documents of the Renzi archival collection and the McPherson book collection, go to the reference desk.

Research assistance

Librarians are available to help users search the library’s catalogs. Online or in the library, the reference staff can suggest the most relevant research tools or help consult indexes and databases.

Online consultation

The library’s staff will answer simple queries for information and bibliographic advice sent via email, while complicated searches are best dealt with at the library. The online reference service “Ask the librarian” answers queries within three working days.

Document supply

The document supply service provides users with copies of documents from the library’s collections in compliance with current copyright laws. Send a written request via email or fax:
